RateMax for shows and entertainment is coming soon.
We're focused on attractions first so every operator we onboard gets the attention they deserve. Shows and venues are next on the roadmap.
- Zone-by-zone repricing based on real sell-through pacing
- Show-time tiering for weak midweek performances
- Advance-purchase incentives that stop last-minute discounting
- Flat monthly fee. Zero revenue share. Same as always.
Discounting late is the most expensive habit in live entertainment
When a performance is pacing behind, the reflex is a last-minute promo. It fills seats, but it also trains your regulars to wait, which drags down the dates that would have sold at full price. The fix is earlier and smaller: move price by zone as pacing data arrives, so the correction is a few dollars weeks out instead of a blowout discount the day before curtain.
What RateMax will do for venues
RateMax will track sell-through by zone and performance against comparable historical shows, then recommend price moves per zone rather than across the whole house. Strong weekend performances hold or climb, soft midweek shows get repriced early, and advance-purchase tiers give customers a reason to commit sooner instead of waiting for a fire sale.
Flat fee, not a share of your revenue
Per-ticket fees scale with your best nights and quietly tax the shows that finally sold out. RateMax charges one flat monthly fee regardless of ticket volume, so a sold-out run costs the same to price as a soft one.

Shows & Entertainment: common questions
- Does dynamic pricing upset regular ticket buyers?
- Not when moves are early and modest. The approach here is to adjust in small increments as pacing data arrives and reward advance purchase, which is far less visible to your audience than the deep last-week discounts most venues fall back on.
- Will it price each seating zone separately?
- Yes. Zone-level repricing is central to the venue release, since premium and rear sections almost never pace at the same rate and a single house-wide price change misses both.
- When can venues start?
- Shows and entertainment follow attractions on the roadmap. Waitlist members hear from us first as early-access spots open.
- What will it cost?
- A flat monthly fee with no per-ticket cut and no revenue share, matching the model used for attractions today. Venue tiers will be published before launch.
